The story of a young girl growing up in rural America whose spiritual inclinations and constant examination of life and its challenges, lead her on a path that takes her to becoming an American saint.

Mandala
this is a documentary of Caitlin Flynn's (an internationally recognized artist) Peace Mandala project with a 5th grade class. She uses expressive art to explore the childrens creativity and visions of peace.

Shaeri Richards (Ginger)
. . . is an actress, musician and a writer. Although, Lessons of the Heart is her first film, she has performed in over 30 stage plays and done hundreds of radio and television commercials. She is a professional drummer and the author and narrator of an audio book for kids called, Maressa and Merlone: A Musical Fairy Tale. (www.musicalfairytale.com). Shaeri is currently adding filmmaking to her list of skills. She is studying this year at the Zaki Gordon Institute for independent Filmmaking, in Sedona, AZ


Kevin Whitaker (Bill)
. . . has been performing in the Phoenix area since 1992. Other film credits besides Lessons of the Heart include: The Original Donut Chronicles, No Score, Can You See Me? and The Cheshire Cat. His stage credits include two years with the murder mystery, dinner theater show called Murder at Greystone Manor. Other stage credits are Mousetrap (twice with two separate performing companies), 12 Angry Men, You Can't take it With You, the musical My Favorite Year and the Narrator in Inspired in Central Park, a locally written and produced show. Other credits include television, industrial, commercial and improvisational work. He is represented locally by the Ford Robert Black agency. He is currently teaching Drama in a Phoenix Fine Arts Elementary school.


Tina Reichow (Dr. Friend)
. . . is a performance artist who hales from Santa Monica, Ca. She has an extensive background including improv at the Improv, The Comedy Store and the L.A. Connection. Musical theatre and television has also
been a part of her life. After moving to Sedona she performed with Deborah Walley and Dev Ross' Swift Wind Productions, and other independent productions. Tina is also a percussionist / facilitator, feng shui consultant and tour guide


Paul LaWrence Curits ( Fred)
. . . has been acting for the past 15 years. Starting back in his home country of England, LaWrence performed in several theatrical productions. Now living in U.S.A. LaWrence has continued his stage performances with companies in L.A. and Sedona, as well as leading roles in several independent movies. Jeffrey Steed (Minister)
studied theatre at the University of Calfornia in San Diego during the late 70's. As an actor, Jeffrey has been involved in many stange and film productions. Jeffrey is a partner and co-founder of IntelleQuest Education Company a technology and media company developing and providing a broad ranges of services and products for the internet. With his background in special education, Jeffrey is involved in developing and designing software-based activities that stimulate the development of intellectual abilities.

Thomas Bruce McArthur, Writer and Director
. . . is the proud father of two adult children. He brings a great variety of life experience to his work with film. Raising a son and daughter, being a race car driver, cowboy, futures trader, ski instructor, property manager, whitewater raft guide, and actor have all enriched his passion for bringing stories to life. Thomas grew up in a family that believed, "no matter what the question, the answer is always love". This philosophy is a guiding principle in his life and in the development of Adesso 1 Productions. As a writer and director Thomas enjoys exploring themes that examine life lived from the heart.


Kathleen Lane, Producer
. . . brings a wealth of experience to film production from such diverse backgrounds as business, law, podiatry, psychology, off-road racing, acting, directing, shamanism & astrophysics, plus a invaluable creative vision. A gifted ceramic artist, Kathleen currently resides
in Greenwich Village with her two children and is pursuing spiritual & creative endeavors with her own unique mystical vision.


Debra Katz, Cinematogaphy
. . . is a graduate of the Zaki Gordon Institute, through which she wrote, directed and produced her own short film, "The Maiden and the Mime". She is the author of the soon to be published book "You are Clairvoyant! the art and practice of clairvoyant reading and healing". She is a professional clairvoyant and healer, and holds a Masters Degree in Social Work. Debra wishes to pursue film making and is enthusiastically seeking opportunities to work on more films. Kaleah LaRoche, Music
Singer/Songwriter and Keyboard player, Kaleah LaRoche brings to the world a gift of music uniquely her own. She began playing piano and singing at a very early age as a way of expressing her thoughts, feelings and emotions. As she matured her music began reflecting her own journey of spiritual awakening, self-discovery and healing. This journey has attracted audiences who strongly identify not only with her words and music but with her powerfully raw emotional delivery. Her music has a “New Age” flavor but could easily be classified as “Adult Contemporary” with songs that are passionately alive.
